It's Me or the Dog

This is a TV show on Animal Planet. It's hosted by a lovely British gal that trains dogs and their owners on how to properly behave. Fascinating to watch.  She also inspired me to work on Bella's habit of jumping up on people to say "hi" or to get attention. So, I've been telling her "Down", turning my back on her until she sits. Then Iavish praise on her ... until we start the process all over again, sometimes within seconds. But after the entire weekend, she's starting to get it.  Tune into this show if you want some ideas to help with your "best friend's" less desirable behaviors!
