Area rugs can be pricey. Especially for large or odd-sized ones. Getting a carpet bound is expensive.
But now you can get custom, bound carpets rugs at a fraction of the price.
First, get a carpet remnant at a local carpet store or a dealer that resells remnants. (Search online for retailers in your area.) Find what you want. Bring it home. Cut it to size using a carpet knife for a clean edge.
Then use Instabind, a pair of scissors, and a hot glue gun to finish it.
See Instabind.com here and watch their videos. Easy, inexpensive, beautiful as seen in photo above.
Love it Julie!

I've sent my Karastan wool rug out for washing a few times, but was recently told not to clean it so often.

That would be a great help for those who want to get a beautiful carpet but are under a tight budget. Just make sure that it is properly cleaned before placing it on the floor.

Reports of adverse weather conditions in other major producers such as Turkey and Syria have created the fears of rate cuts in the short term before rising exports.

This is a pretty neat idea, and it's easy to do! I can definitely make use of my sewing skills and recycle carpet remnants from the run shops here! That way, I get to pass the time and make new decorations for my house!

Now that’s ideal for people who have a limited budget for a new carpet. I will definitely try that idea at home. My kid’s room needs a new carpet, anyway.

Most carpets found in the average home today are made from synthetic material, usually nylon, that is formulated to be more resistant and less sensitive to certain conditions than wool.
Wool carpet, as the name suggests, is made from the fleece of sheep, and is therefore composed of natural protein fibers. That is why it smells like wet sheep when it is wet. Incidentally, that is the smell of sulphur, one of the natural components of the wool fiber.
