Kathy,

Seafoam green is a very popular color right now so I'm surprised you'd have a difficult time finding it. Tried and true places include:

Bed Bath and Beyond
Linens and Things
Target
Pottery Barn
JC Penney (check catalog or online as they have tons of colors in rugs - not maybe as nice a texture but lots of colors)
Sears - yes, I've found nice rugs here too
West Elm

If you really can't find it, you could get a white cotton rug and dye it. Or use fabric paints and paint a seafoam design on it. Some come in a marker to make it even easier.

It sounds like you're on the right track with the runner. Whether it's the same color or not will depend how coordinated the seafoam green is with your bedroom. If you have elements of that, tie it in. Generally, you can find runners at the same places as above. I've also found some attractive ones at a good price at ... Home Depot, believe it or not.

Good luck and let me know how it goes. Thanks for your kind words about the site too. If it's ok, I'd like to include our emails on the site and in my newsletter.

Sounds like we have similar master bath/bedroom arrangements. I, too, have been looking for seafoam green rugs...our bath is painted "Daiquiri Ice" (Benjamin Moore), and we have a white marble counter and floors, with dark wood double vanity.(and I'm looking for a runner size rug here...) I've tried several green rugs but nothing actually goes with the wall color...everything is just a shade (or two) off. I'm still trying. So far, JC Pennys has come the closest. Good luck!
