The Two Hot New Paint Colors for 2009

After reviewing several sources, I've determined that the two hot new decorating paint colors for 2009 are purple and gray - used together or separately.

The purples are deep and rich and range from dark wines to the dark purple of royalty.  Grays are the new neutral of choice and are influencing other colors - such as blue and green - by "graying" them down.
