Today, master bathrooms not only have a separate whirlpool tub or perhaps a clawfoot tub, but also a separate luxury shower. You can have multiple shower heads or a steam feature. You may also have a tiled bench for convenience. But not all of that's not enough. The inside of your shower must have it's own accent.
As shown here, the shower wall is recessed. Picture frame tiles outline the outside edge while unique, contrasting mosaic tiles enhance the inside. Note, this must be specially framed to accommodate this recessed feature. The tiling is not difficult albeit more time-consuming than simple wall tiles.
In addition to the practicality of adding a shelf, it also brings an almost artistic feel to the shower.
