I saw this powder room at a recent home show. While traditional in style - faucet almost looks Victorian but with a modern finish - this is certainly a new type of sink. Made of a hammered bronze, it's primitive yet reminiscent of an old wash bowl at the same time. This almost Victorian feel is further carried out with the old-fashioned bronze statue and stencilled walls. It's complemented with faucet and handles, mounted the wall - a mirror to be specific. Certainly, a trend right now is to showcase statement sinks in powder rooms - whether they're hand painted to match wallpaper or a decor, natural or synthetic stone, or raised above the counter in numerous styles. While these particular fixtures may not fit everyone's taste, they are one one of the most unique I've seen without being ultra modern or minimalist.
