Tonight was the night of our third annual Halloween party. It seemed that everyone enjoyed themselves, ate lots of food, got scared in my husband's haunted maze (built in the garage and pretty darn scary), and the boys enjoyed the fire pit and making smores. (Actually, they liked turning marshmallows into miniature torches, something only a mother of boys can recognize as normal, if not really understand. [smile]) My husband was V for Vendetta, and I was Supergirl (the modest version, this was a family party so the racy version was definitely out.) The most popular costumes for any male under age 50 was a Chicago Bear football player. My daughter was Queen Frostine from Candyland. Plenty of witches, pirates, vampires, devils, kings, and queens to fill out the rest.
