Do It Yourself Botanical Prints

I love this idea. In fact, I've wanted to create scan some ferns, leaves, and plants to create a set of prints for our master bedroom. But these are so cool.  You'll need a scanner and the ability to enhance the color to make it more vivid.  Photoshop abilities would probably be helpful, but based on my own puttering with the scanner, not required.  Print out on a photo printer or take the files to be developed as a photo.  Buy or have a nice frame made (you can do that yourself too if you're really ambitious).  So far, I haven't found time. Now, I'm starting to look at catalogs and thinking of buying some.  Save money or save time - I hate dilemmas like this!  No! I will be strong and create unique, one-of-a kind prints.
