Ebay is like the Internet; you can find anything on it. In addition to movie posters for the theatre room and prints that go perfectly in my powder room, I have decorated nearly an entire room with items bought on Ebay. Our guest room is arranged in such a way that it has two areas. So in order to have plenty of places for guests to sleep and get double-duty by creating an upstairs tv/Playstation room, we put a daybed on one side as a "viewing" area and a queen size bed in the other. I already had a nice daybed set that I still liked and was in good shape. Plus, it was yellow and blue which is now a very popular color combination in decorating. But the daybed set is about 10 years old; I could never find it in stores at this point. How could I do the bed in the same room, match the pattern, and pull it all together? Ebay. The pattern is Fiesta by Croscill. Over the past several months, I have searched for this pattern. I've found valances and a shower curtain for the adjoining bath. I never found a queen size comforter in the Fiesta pattern, but I did find extra pillow shams and queen size dust ruffle, so I used a blue duvet cover that I already had. I even found a round table cover to use as a nightstand. All of the pieces were in excellent condition and match perfectly. I did the whole thing with less than $120. Now all I need is a headboard.
